This season, she is willing to bend the rules again by only taking the below 5’7’’ feet models.

The new rules established by Tyra have got attention of many modeling enthusiasts and critics. Others are waiting with great anticipation to see the controversial concept will really be implemented. Enthusiasts of show business cannot hold back their eagerness to see the short models making to the limelight in the in the profession.

The divisive thing is the fact that in one of the photoshoot named `Make Me Tall’; the models were encouraged to make themselves look taller. During the judging of the models, some of them were blamed for not having ability in making themselves look taller enough. This has raised the question whether in the past it will be ok to model for anyone as long as they have capability of making themselves look taller.

There are a lot of accusation fingers being pointed at Tyra for trying to break the culture of the modeling industry, but she has maintained that her aim is not bending the rules. Americas next top model is all about giving everyone a chance to conform with he regulations of the industry. The current idea in the modeling industry is currently telling us that `short models can be tall’ instead of `models can be short’.

The only problem that is making people point accusing fingers at Tyra is the fact she is trying to bring some unheard of concepts. If Americas next top model was to allow anyone to get into the show, then the taste of modeling will lose value. If the industry will allow the overweight, unattractive and the short to model; then Tyra will make the interest of the show flow away. Anyway, the strictness of the industry on the definition of people it can allow into the show, it makes it makes it a coveted industry.
